Early Childhood Emergencies
Proper care during an emergency involving a child or infant is crucial for their survival, especially in cases of drowning, electric shock, or choking. Based on my experience in pediatrics, I have witnessed how quickly a child's condition can deteriorate in emergency situations.
This course is intended for anyone who, due to their profession or family situation, is in direct contact with young children or infants and is responsible for their care.
The Early Childhood Emergencies course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an AED defibrillator, airway clearance techniques such as the Heimlich and Mofenson maneuvers, the management of burns, bleeding, asthma attacks, and other topics.
You will learn to understand and manage each of these emergency situations through a theoretical approach to cardiac and respiratory physiology, as well as through practical exercises and role-playing scenarios. You will learn to manage your stress and apply the techniques taught during the course (securing the scene, checking consciousness and breathing, chest compressions, defibrillator use, airway clearance, recovery position, etc.).
The course duration is 6 hours. Schedule and location will be arranged based on your availability and geographic location.
The price is 150 CHF, including the cost of the certificate.
At the end of the course, you will receive an official certificate.
For parents and new parents:

The goal of this program is to provide a complete training experience for parents and groups of friends who may not have childcare options or who simply prefer to take the course together in a more family-friendly setting.
