First Aid

This course is particularly intended for driving license candidates and is mandatory to take the theory exam.

The First Aid course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an AED defibrillator, recognizing the signs of a heart attack and a stroke, extricating victims during a road accident, burns, cuts, and many other topics.

You will learn to understand and manage each of these emergency situations through a theoretical approach to cardiac physiology and through practical exercises on mannequins using training defibrillators, as well as role-playing scenarios where you will apply the techniques learned in the course (securing the area, checking consciousness and breathing, performing chest compressions, using the defibrillator, the Rautek maneuver, recovery position, etc.)

The course lasts 10 hours, from Friday 7:00 PM–9:00 PM to Saturday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.

The course fee is 120 CHF, which includes the cost of the certificate.

At the end of the course, a certificate will be sent to you by post. This certificate allows you to take the theory exam for the driving license and to continue your process of obtaining a driver's license. The certificate is an official document, valid for 6 years, and is issued in your name. In case of loss, a reissue costs 30 CHF.
